The special team, which was detached from the SSU Central office, established that officials of the port, the Ministry of infrastructure and the State property fund of Ukraine, rented out a range of port facilities contrary to the state enterprise interests. In the result of this, the state port artificially lost the possibility to present the full service stowage, reducing the budget of Ukraine revenue.
The special team also established that goods smuggling channel to our state was set up through the renting facilities.
Directly near the checkpoint, the law-enforcers stopped the truck, which illegally transported container with consumer goods outside the port without customs formality, with UAH seven millions estimated cost. The pre-trial investigation was initiated.
