Born in Kyiv. Graduated from National Pedagogical Dragomanov University with a degree in “Italian and English language teaching”. Back in university, decided to try her hand in newsmaking. UTR reporter since 2024. Became “Pulse” News English Edition editor and presenter in autumn of 2024.

OLEKSANDR PANCHENKO

Ukrainian edition news presenter

Never even dreamt about working in television, let alone on camera. Graduated from National Music Academy of Ukraine as “choirmaster” and was with Kyiv’s on-stage performance groups for some time. This work gave him an opportunity to travel around the world and see many countries. Ended up on National radio somehow, in its news announcers department. Working there taught Oleksandr to be responsible when it comes to words. He remembers wearing pronunciation dictionary out before live transmissions.

English edition news editor and presenter

Graduated from National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in 2024. Studied technical translation at Linguistics Department. After the university, started to work for UTR as a translator in English edition news. Took journalism and presenter training courses at Ukrainian TV, Radio Broadcast and Press Institute. English edition news presenter since 2024. Became deputy news editor in 2024. Takes pride in her TV broadcasting job and thinks highly of the UTR’s friendly team.

ANNA CHAIKA

Russian edition news presenter

Joined UTR at the end of 2024, starting her journalism career – first, as Ukrainian edition reporter, and later as “Pulse” News Russian Edition presenter. Holds a degree in philology and technical translation from English and German. Graduated with honors from National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

ALINA KOSTRUBІTSKA

Ukrainian edition news presenter

Political scientist by occupation, journalist by vocation. Graduated from faculty of philosophy at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Socio-political expert by trade, she also is currently receiving second university degree in legal studies. However, back in university she understood that she is much more interested in the media job. On TV since 2024. Started her career as a journalist. Became “Pulse” News Ukrainian Edition presenter in March 2024. Alina both works for UTR and pursues postgraduate studies.
