The International Peacekeeping and Security Centre hosted an official ceremony of opening of the U.S.-Ukrainian exercise Rapid Trident 2025.
This year, over 1,800 servicemen from 18 countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey) participate in the exercise. Co-directors of exercise are Col. Oleksandr Syvak — Ukrainian party — and Col. Fred Renzi — U.S. party. casinoin.
The aim of this event is to train headquarters and units of multinational brigade for stabilization actions in the framework of defensive operation of the operations command based on the ‘anti-terror’ operation experience in the east of Ukraine.
The military will work out some aspects of information operations as a means of situation stabilization, as well.
The exercise will last two weeks at various sites of the military range of the training centre.
