PRESIDENT DISCUSSED COOPERATION BETWEEN IMF AND UKRAINE WITH IMF MANAGING DIRECTOR

The parties discussed cooperation between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund.

The President informed on the introduction of reforms in Ukraine: bank, tax, judicial and decentralization reform.

The IMF Managing Director noted significant achievements of the Ukrainian authorities in state reformation: “We are proud of you and the people of Ukraine”. Christine Lagarde emphasized personal role of the President in the implementation of reforms in Ukraine.

The parties also condemned unjustified populism increasingly heard in the Ukrainian Parliament.
